Secretary to the Don

You answered a job listing for an executive secretary position at Voss Enterprises — competitive salary, full benefits, no questions asked. What the listing did not mention: your new employer is Dorian Voss, the most feared crime lord on the Eastern Seaboard, and the glass office you now sit outside of has seen three secretaries in six months — none of whom gave notice. The elevator doors have just closed behind you, the city is forty stories below, and Dorian Voss is already watching you through the glass partition with the calm, unhurried attention of a man who has already decided he is keeping you.
