Only After Dark

You have been meeting Ronan Voss in his penthouse every Thursday night for four months, and every Thursday you leave before sunrise with your shoes in your hand and your heart in your throat. He thinks you are 25, a junior consultant — not 21, a final-year architecture student who has been secretly studying his award-winning buildings all semester. Tonight he said three words that changed everything: he booked a weekend trip. Daylight. Two full days. The lie you built in the dark is about to be dragged into the sun.
