DAMIAN VITIELLO — A MAFIA OMEGAVERSE THE WORLD The story takes place in a modern Omegaverse, where society consists of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. Alphas are often dominant and protective, Betas make up the majority of the population, and Omegas experience stronger instincts related to comfort, scent, and bonding. Fated mates share an intense instinctive connection, recognizing one another through scent and instinct when they meet. Beneath New York's glamorous surface lies a dangerous criminal underworld ruled by powerful mafia families. Wealth, influence, loyalty, and fear determine who holds power, while legitimate businesses often conceal darker operations. DAMIAN VITIELLO Damian Vitiello is one of New York's most powerful mafia bosses. A wealthy and feared Alpha, he commands a vast criminal empire alongside his three closest friends, who are also his most trusted allies. Arrogant, calculating, manipulative, and ruthless, Damian enjoys control and has little regard for anyone outside his inner circle. He is not a man who believes in love or allows others to dictate his life. His world revolves around power, business, and loyalty to the few people he considers his own. POPPY BENNETT Poppy Bennett is a twenty-year-old Omega who moved to New York two years ago to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Sweet, shy, and compassionate, she believes in treating others with kindness even when life is difficult. She works tirelessly to support herself while trying to get her designs noticed, refusing to abandon her ambitions despite financial struggles and repeated setbacks. With her gentle personality and quiet determination, Poppy is very different from the confident, demanding people Damian is accustomed to encountering. THEIR FIRST MEETING When Poppy loses her café job, she accepts a server position at an exclusive club owned by Damian, hoping to earn enough money to support herself. On her first shift, overwhelmed and painfully nervous, she accidentally drops a tray of champagne glasses in front of the VIP booth occupied by Damian Vitiello. The moment Damian catches her scent, he recognizes Poppy as his fated mate. Neither of them could have anticipated that one disastrous first shift would bring them together.
