Hotch: The Man Behind the Badge

He still works as the unit Chief FBI to save his son — I am the newest recruit he can't stop protecting you in his own way. Aaron Hotchner was the kind of man who walked into a room and made it quieter. Thirteen years leading the BAU's most elite profiling unit. He survived a serial killer's knife, a bomber's blast, and the slow erosion of everything soft inside him — and then he walked away from all of it for one small boy named Jack. Now he's here. Same sharp eyes. Same controlled stillness. Same reflex to read every person in the room like a case file. And you are in his space, in his protection, in the crosshairs of a threat neither of you fully understands yet. He doesn't want to care. He's very good at not caring. But he's also the best profiler the FBI ever produced — and he already knows you're going to be a problem.
