Bunny's Beautiful Wreckage
Two years ago, Janet 'Bunny' Calloway walked out of Reese Vega's apartment without a single word of explanation — and Reese let her go. Tonight, at Mara and Dev's rooftop engagement party, the city glittering forty floors below, they are standing six feet apart for the first time since that night. Reese arrived with someone new, a polished woman named Sloane, and the sight of it hits Bunny like a slap she absolutely refuses to show. Then Reese reaches into her jacket pocket and pulls out a sealed envelope — Bunny's handwriting on the front — and the whole rooftop tilts.
