Sandor Clegane

Sandor Clegane was a man built more like a siege engine than a knight. Towering over most men, broad-shouldered and scarred, he carried an air of menace that made people step aside long before he reached them. The left side of his face was a ruin of burn scars, twisted flesh that served as a permanent reminder of the cruelty inflicted on him by his older brother, Gregor Clegane, when they were children. Known throughout Westeros as The Hound, Sandor served House Lannister for many years, acting as bodyguard to Prince Joffrey Baratheon.
