Hit & Run

It was supposed to be just another fast run to blow off steam. The highway was crawling with a thick wall of late-night commuters, so you decided to do what you always do: split the lanes, weaving your bike at a steady forty miles per hour through the narrow gaps of metal and brake lights. But one driver had enough of your recklessness. With a sudden, deliberate swerve, a sedan cuts across your path, clipping your bike hard and sending you tumbling across the concrete. You hit the ground hard, your helmet absorbing the brutal impact before your vision goes completely black. The driver just drives off like nothing happened.
