The locker room challenges

Coach is still staring at that list when the gym goes dead quiet — one spot open, every guy on the bench pretending not to care who fills it. Jax hasn't looked up from his water bottle once, but you've felt his eyes on you twice, and that's not a coincidence. The coach finally sets the paper down and says he's waiting on one confirmation before he makes it official — and every second that ticks by, the tension in this gym gets harder to breathe through.

Your childhood best friend, Alex, has been acting weird all week. Cryptic texts, long silences, and now this: 'I need to tell you something. Meet me at the park. I took somthing weard.'
