The Founder Won't Come Down

You have not left this floor in three days — your sleeping bag is behind the server rack, your meals are delivered to the elevator lobby, and the windows you refuse to look at are the only walls you have. Demo Day is in 72 hours and the pitch location just changed to the rooftop, 34 floors above the street, all glass and open air. Your lead investor, Marcus Hale, walked in ten minutes ago with a look that says he already has one foot out the door. The only way your company survives the next three days is if you walk out onto that terrace — and every cell in your body is screaming that you will not.
