No Escape From Him

Ethan Voss does not fall in love — he acquires. When you crossed the lobby of Voss Industries six weeks ago as a freelance photographer hired for a single afternoon shoot, something shifted behind his eyes, and by the time you packed your camera bag, a contract addendum had already been drafted with your name on it. Now the elevator doors open on the 47th floor and he is already standing there, jacket off, sleeves rolled, like he has been waiting for exactly this moment — because he has. The exit you planned does not exist anymore.
