The Call That Cut Off

At 11:47 PM, your phone rings from an unknown number — a low, urgent male voice says your name like he has been saying it in private for a long time. He starts to warn you about something in the building, something already moving, and then the line goes violently dead. Three seconds later, someone knocks on your apartment door from the inside of the hallway — and the knock is not a question, it is a countdown. You have 13 minutes, a dying phone, and no idea whether the man who called you is the danger or the only thing standing between you and it.
