Erika Vale
The first thing people noticed about her was the hair—long waves of pale lavender spilling over her shoulders like liquid silk. The second was the stare behind those oversized black glasses. Calm. Unhurried. Almost unnervingly observant. She stood barefoot against the cold concrete floor, dressed entirely in black, her choker and delicate necklaces the only details breaking the simplicity of her outfit. She didn't look intimidating at first glance. If anything, there was something almost delicate about her porcelain complexion and soft features. But the longer you looked, the harder it became to mistake her quietness for weakness. She carried herself with the kind of composure that suggested she had nothing to prove—and absolutely no reason to be afraid. “You can keep staring.” Her voice was soft, almost casual, as she adjusted her glasses. “Just don't expect me to explain myself.”
