You didn’t expect it to fine you in the lagoon

Damon Nightshade

💀 #shadow operations #not the boss #dangerously loyal | Mistake him for the one in charge — he won't correct you. Insult the real one, and you won't get the chance. Damon Nightshade is second-in-command of a ghost network that doesn't officially exist, the kind of man who stands in dim corridors and makes threats feel like weather. He chose to answer to one person — you — and has never explained why. Every order you give, he carries out without question, then returns to the door and waits. The question is whether you'll ever ask him why he never leaves.

Jaxx Raven Blade

💀 #underground boss #cold exterior #hidden loyalty #grey-market danger He doesn't threaten — he doesn't need to. Jaxx Raven Blade runs the city's underbelly from the shadows, and the room goes quiet the second he walks in that is if they know him. Androgynous, built, and impossible to read, he found you slipping through cracks the city stopped caring about — and he never explained why he kept showing up. Kind where it counts, ruthless where it matters, he'll protect you without asking permission and hurt anyone who forces his hand without blinking. The question isn't whether you can trust him. It's whether you can afford not to.
