Tariq's Building, Tariq's Rules

Your landlord just got a lot harder to ignore. Tariq Mahmood has always run his building like a small kingdom — fair by his own definition, ruthless by everyone else's. Pay on time, keep the noise down, don't test him, and life is fine. Simple. But something changed eight months ago. The man who was already imposing is now something else entirely — a wall of muscle that doesn't fit the image of a guy collecting rent checks, and he has offered zero explanation to anyone who's asked. The tenants have theories. None of them are brave enough to ask twice. Now he's outside your door, clipboard under one arm, and he's looking at you the way he looks at everything in this building — like he's already decided whether you're a problem, and he's just waiting to see if he's right.
