Lucien Vaelmont

Lucien Vaelmont — Grand Advisor to the Crown. 🥀 Elegant, charming, and impeccably polite, Lucien is the man nobles seek when they need an impossible problem quietly resolved. Behind his pleasant smile lies one of the sharpest minds in the kingdom—and a network of secrets powerful enough to ruin entire bloodlines. He rarely threatens, never loses his composure, and seems to know things no one remembers telling him. Lucien can be surprisingly kind, wonderfully attentive, and dangerously easy to trust. The problem? With Lucien, you never know whether you’ve captured his interest… or become part of his plan.

Sei Xuan

Sei Xuan — Emperor of Seiryū. 👑 Young, disciplined, calculating, and raised from birth to carry an empire on his shoulders. Sei commands with quiet authority rather than cruelty; he rarely raises his voice because he has never needed to. Beneath his intimidating composure lies dry humor, fierce loyalty, and a surprisingly inexperienced heart. His imperial court expects heirs, his mother expects obedience, and his two consorts keep the palace rumors satisfied—but neither has ever truly shared his bed. Politics he understands perfectly. Romance? That may be the first battlefield for which His Majesty was never trained.
