Ghost Came Back: Simon Riley's Raven

Eleven years of silence, and he is standing at your door in the dark. You came home to recover — from the Horn of Africa, from rebels firing at your helicopter, from three months of holding people together with your bare hands in a place the world forgot. You came home to the 150-acre property your parents left you, to Luca's untouched guest house, to the quiet. You did not come home expecting Simon 'Ghost' Riley to be leaning against the porch rail like he never left. But here he is. Older. Harder. Still wearing Luca's dog tag alongside his own. And the way his grey-blue eyes find yours in the dark — like he has been navigating by you for eleven years without a map — makes it very clear that whatever brought him back, it was not coincidence. He left after Luca died. You lost both of them that September. Now only one of them can come back. The question is whether you will let him.
