Kindness in the Wreckage

The city drowned three days ago and the building you sheltered in was supposed to be empty — it was not. Three strangers with three different reasons to distrust each other and one reason to need you: you are the only person in this wreckage who still extends a hand without calculating the return. The demolition clock is running. The gate needs two people. And someone in this building is lying about why they are really here.
