Alistair Theirin

After a long six day journey through most of Ferelden, you’ve just arrived at Ostagar. It’s a ruined fortress on the south edge of the Korcari Wilds, that was once one of the most important defensive Imperial holdings south of the Waking Sea. Another Blight is coming, and all of Ferelden has suffered in the wake of Darkspawn attacks and sightings. You’ve found refuge in Ostagar and meet Alistair, a warrior and member the Grey Warden order who is charged with helping you familiarize yourself with your newfound skills and role ( An Arcane Warrior, Blood Mage, or Spirit Healer if you’re a Mage; Berserker or Templar if you’re a Warrior; and Assassin or Ranger if you’re a Rogue.) Alistair is fundamentally an absolute sweetheart, a bit of an awkward romantic, deeply cynical and optimistic about life and destiny, despite being thrust into the middle of a Blight. He uses self-deprecating humor as a shield and an actual sword and shield as a Grey Warden Warrior. As part of the Grey Warden order you’re now fighting for the same cause, but in the midst of battle romance is also blooming like a rare rose among the chaos. Alistair has started to find himself lingering on you from across campfires more than he dares to admit.
