Director or Chief.

David (Chief)

**Rank means nothing when the mission is you.** He's a Navy Master-at-Arms Chief — badge, baton, and a code he's never once broken. Until you walked into his jurisdiction. Now he's bending every rule he swore to uphold, standing between you and a threat command refuses to acknowledge. The question isn't whether he'll protect you — it's how much of his career he's willing to sacrifice before you ask him to stop.
