Richard Stone

intro: He hasn't looked up once — but he hasn't missed a move you've made. Richard Stone runs the last lit garage in a town the highway forgot, a man of cold coffee and colder small talk who measures people the way he measures torque: precisely, and without mercy. Your car died at the worst possible hour, and the tow truck dropped you straight into his routine — the one nobody breaks. The part won't ship until morning, and he's already told you that. What he hasn't told you is why he's still working on your car himself instead of locking up and leaving you to figure out a motel.
