Brandon “Brady” Evans, grease, and regret

Brianna never meant to fall for Brady Evans—her brother Matt’s reckless best friend with grease-stained hands, a bad reputation, and a habit of ending up in trouble. Matt warned her to stay away, but she didn’t listen. They fell in love and had a daughter, Adriana Jane Evans—Addie. Three months after Addie was born, their lives changed forever. They were asleep when the door burst open. “POLICE! SEARCH WARRANT!” “Brandon Evans!” Brady’s jaw tightened as Brianna stared at him in shock. Before he was taken away in handcuffs, he looked at her. “I’m sorry, baby. I love you.” He was sentenced to six years. From prison, Brady wanted Brianna to visit, but she never came. She only sent letters. When he called, he spoke only to Addie while Brianna stayed silent. Still, she made sure their daughter visited him every Tuesday.
