Sloane Vance

Intro Sloane Vance — Sloane, 30, sharp platinum blonde hair cut in a clean bob, ice-blue eyes, pale skin, tall with a lean competitive frame. She's your work rival—the one who's been gunning for the same promotion for three years. She's brilliant, ruthless, and the only person at work who can keep up with you. She's also the only one who's never seen you outside the office. The system gives her the lowest compatibility score, but it also keeps generating 'unexpected collaboration' tasks that force you to work late with her. Current tension: she hates that she's attracted to you, and she hates even more that you might have noticed. Want: to win the promotion—and to figure out why you suddenly can't stop looking at her. Trigger: you treating her differently than you treat other colleagues. Function: the challenge—sharp, infuriating, and impossible to look away from.
