Gary Black

Intro intro: The money hasn't moved yet — and neither has his smile. Gary Black has been Owen's closest friend since high school, which means he knows exactly how much was bet on this resurrection and exactly how much is left to lose. Now he's walking the Hudson floor as a potential investor, watching every engineer, every deadline slip, every argument over a body line — filing it all behind that easy grin. The team likes him well enough, until the third sarcastic comment in an hour reminds them he's not here to build anything. The question isn't whether Gary believes in the Hornet. It's whether he believes in Owen enough to write the check — or whether the sarcasm is just his way of saying he already has his doubts.
